Walk for Barton
We are thrilled to announce this NEW EVENT--the 1st Annual Walk for Barton. Join us for this fun family event complete with vendors, kids' activities such as face painting and the Home Depot Kids Workshop, a photo booth, and music. There is no registration fee as we want our participants to focus on fundraising. Walkers will have an opportunity to raise money to support The Barton Center or their camper's own camp fee for 2020. The walk will take place at Clara Barton Camp and be about two miles long. We are fortunate to be collaborating with Adam Webster, host of Worcester's radio morning shows on 98.9 NASH ICON and 100.1 The Pike. Adam is chair of our planning committee for the Walk.
Check-in begins at 10 a.m. with the walk starting at 11 a.m. At noon, we'll have closing ceremonies, and the celebration continues until 2 p.m. Register for the event and set up your fundraising page at FirstGiving. Every individual who raises at least $100 will receive a Walk for Barton t-shirt! If you are raising funds for your camper's summer camp fee, then set up your fundraising page with the camper's first and last name. For example, John Smith's Campership. If you fundraise before your child’s 2019 camp session, then the funds can be applied to the 2019 camp session, otherwise the funds will be applied to your child’s 2020 camp session.
