Walk for Barton
We are thrilled to announce this NEW EVENT--the 1st Annual Walk for Barton. Join us for this fun family event and help support The Barton Center. There is no registration fee as we want our participants to focus on fundraising. Walkers will have an opportunity to raise money to support The Barton Center or their camper's own camp fee for 2020. The walk will take place at Four Winds Farm/Clara Barton Camp on Ennis Road in North Oxford and will be about two miles long. We are fortunate to be collaborating with Adam Webster, host of Worcester's radio morning shows on 98.9 NASH ICON and 100.1 The Pike. Adam is chair of our planning committee for the Walk.
Come on down and take a nice walk through Clara Barton Camp and beyond. Enjoy some great food from our vendors, face painting, pony rides, Home Depot Kids Workshop, a photo booth, and music. Come meet Wally from the Boston Red Sox, Jake from the Worcester Bravehearts, and Trax from the Worcester Railers! We can't wait to see everyone there! Check-in begins at 10 a.m. at Four Winds Farm at 31 Ennis Road, North Oxford, with the walk starting at 11 a.m. Closing ceremonies will take place at noon, and the celebration continues until 2 p.m.
Register for the event and set up your fundraising page at FirstGiving. Every individual who raises at least $100 will receive a Walk for Barton t-shirt! If you are raising funds for your camper's summer camp fee, then set up your fundraising page with the camper's first and last name. For example, John Smith's Campership. The funds will be applied to your child’s 2020 camp session. For more information, please call 508-987-2056, Ext. 2011 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Please note: no pets allowed.
